ACCELERATION DAY

Video Poster Image

It is a great in person session to connect with others and learning how far we all have come. It reminds me of sessions and context I have learned and things I didn't consider in the First Five Program.

PARTICIPANTS LEAVE WITH:

  • Clear insight into why challenges arise when applying program learnings
  • Practical strategies to adapt communication and influence in real situations
  • Greater confidence navigating complexity and increased responsibility
  • Clearer direction on career progression and growth opportunities
  • A strengthened peer network that supports momentum and retention
  • Practical insight from experienced women working in industry

TAKING FIRST FIVE TO THE NEXT LEVEL

The First Five Acceleration Day is an in-person professional development day that builds directly on the learning participants have already completed through the First Five Program.

As participants begin applying program skills and strategies in their day-to-day roles, they naturally encounter friction: moments where things don’t land as expected or feel harder to put into practice. This day is designed to identify those pressure points, unpack what’s really happening, and strengthen how core capabilities are being applied.

In doing so, the Acceleration Day supports early-career women to take on greater responsibility, navigate more complex workplace dynamics, and continue progressing with confidence and momentum.

Extremely valuable andinsightful way to spendyour work time

Building confidence and clarity as roles expand, expectations shift and participants begin to take on greater responsibility, informal leadership or stretch opportunities.

Advocating for Career Progression

Identifying opportunities for growth, positioning strengths effectively and proactively advocating for development and progression within the workplace.

Delivered fully in person, the day and includes contributions from experienced women in industry, creating space for face-to-face learning, discussion and networking, alongside practical insight drawn from lived experience.
